During my stint as The Easterner’s sports editor, I had the opportunity to meet several athletes. One of the more memorable sports stars I encountered was basketball player Melissa Williams.
In addition to writing a profile on her, I was able to snag our multimedia guy, Doug Ault, and filmed the interview between Melissa and myself.
One thing I will say about Melissa is that she has an infectious laugh – and I mean that in a good way. She’s also persistent and dedicated when it comes to athletics.
Here is some information from EWU’s athletic page about Williams.
