Cheney hosted Clarkston (1-3, 1-3), Senior Day, May 3. Head coach Jason Overland said he’ll be saying “goodbye to seven seniors.”
“(Senior Day) is a sad but beautiful day and we’re going to try to send them out with a win,” Overland said.
The Blackhawks travel to Pullman to play the Greyhounds tonight (May 5). Overland said he’d like his team to top last year’s 10-4 overall season record.
“We’re going to take it one match at a time,” Overland said. “We’d like to stay in second place, but we’re also hoping we can launch ourselves up to first.”
