Many speculated that it was only a matter of time before undefeated strawweight Alexa Grasso would be coming to the UFC. Now the wait is over.
According to a report from Indiscutido, Grasso will make her highly-anticipated octagon debut on “The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 3” finale, scheduled for Nov. 5 in her home country of Mexico. The UFC confirmed the fight in a news release.
The report states that Grasso will take on “The Ultimate Fighter 20” alumna Heather “Hurricane” Jo Clark in a women’s strawweight contest.
Grasso (0-0 UFC, 8-0 MMA), who made her professional mixed martial arts debut in 2012, is quickly becoming one of the best 115-pound fighters in the sport. She won her first four fights in Mexico, with three of those victories being first-round stoppages – two of those within the first 20 seconds.

I’m happy for Grasso. She’s becoming one of the best fighters at 115 pounds and she’s just so much fun to watch. It would have been great to see her challenge Angela Hill for the Invicta strawweight title but this is just as good of an opportunity.
