Kurt Angle in the WWE Hall of Fame

This year’s WWE Hall of Fame is headlined by the only Olympic gold medalist in the promotion’s history – Kurt Angle.

ESPN announced that Angle would be headlining the class. Both Angle and WWE’s Triple H confirmed the news.

This is great news. Angle is one of the best technical wrestlers on the planet. He’s also someone who got the business right away. The guy was as entertaining as he was good of a wrestler. He did a great job as a comedic heel, but he also had this viciousness to him.

Angle won a plethora of championships in WWE, then went on TNA where he achieved great success. He’s spent the last year on the Indies, performing against the likes of Cody Rhodes, Zack Sabre Jr. and Rey Mysterio.

If you’ve got the WWE Network, go and watch him perform. His TNA and New Japan stuff is pretty good too.

A big bucket of win for him.
