Mistakes as stepping stones

I had a screw up this past week at work – I got some information wrong in a story – and it was not good. I apologized to the people and we are going to run a correction, but I’ve learned that you can’t carry a mistake around like a burden. That doesn’t mean I’m not sorry, but I’m also not letting it further deteriorate my work. You have to forgive yourself.

Use the mistakes you make to improve and build upon them.
